The Sealed Knot were in town to enact a battle The guns and the shouts they made such a rattle We gave of our best from the Rotary section

And assembled fine gates - “The Bishop Erection” Fireworks at Radley - an event in the past

The music which played caught Roger aghast

He conducted the band from his seat on the ground And dispersed all our drinks to those just around

It was business as usual, George Goddard profound His smart interjections amusing and sound

The theme had been social for my special year The results were fantastic - I shed not one tear

So thank you to all my friends in the Club Who gave their support and ate all my grub

The committee performed and the Club did well Paul Rogers was next with a ding of the bell

Our thoughts and prayers are with Janet and his sons John and Richard at this time. Colin Holman
