Pick Up A Pancake!

We invite you to come along to the Village Hall on Saturday 9th February between 2.30 p.m. and 5.00 p.m., to enjoy some lovely pancakes with lots of yummy fillings.

Enjoy tea, coffee, and soft drinks, and an opportunity to meet with friends and have a chat.

All proceeds to MRDF (Methodist Relief and Development Fund) which is a registered charity providing help for people living in the world's poorest communities.

We look forward to seeing you there! Helen Orr

Table Top Fair

Due to popular demand, there will be another table top fair on Saturday 16th February, in the Village Hall.

The fairs held last year proved popular with both buyers and sellers, and together raised a lot of money for the Village Hall fund, so everyone has benefited! The way they work is as follows:  The fairs take place in the Village Hall, and run from 10.00 a.m. to Noon.  There is no charge for buyers and browsers to go into the Hall.  If you want to sell goods, you “rent” a table for £4 (or you can share a table with others).  The “rent” from the tables goes to the Village Hall funds.

 On the table you sell anything you fancy – so youmight sell plants, eggs, bric-a-brac, books, crafts, cards, cakes, vegetables, CDs, DVDs, anything you can think of.

 The profit that you make is either yours to keep, or you might run your table to raise funds for a charity or the church.

As well as all the tables, we sell teas, coffees, etc. See the posters in the village shop and bus shelter for more information.

If you are interested in having a table yourself or need any other information ring me on 231231. Anne Gray
