Get Fit at Home!

Let’s take a look at why home fitness centers can be a good option to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

Convenience First and foremost, working out at home is convenient! No more waiting in line at the gym. No more dirty locker rooms. No more crowded parking lots. If your time is valuable to you, then working out at home can save you a lot of it!

No More Driving Driving to a health club not only takes time and a little gas money, but can cause great frustration if you get stuck in heavy traffic, construction zones, behind a train or accident, etc. The stress can zap your motivation and prevent you from even attempting your quest. When you have a fitness center in your own home, nothing stands between you and your equipment.

Some Valuable Alone Time If you’re not interested in rubbing elbows with others at the health club, you may prefer the privacy of your own home for a workout. You don’t have to worry about how you look, or what you wear—it’s just you and your home fitness equipment.

Saving Money Joining a health club can take member dues out of your wallet every month for the rest of your life. Investing in your own home fitness equipment can pay dividends for years to come. Most machines have a 5- or 10-year warranty, as long as you’re careful about what you buy.

TIP: Be sure to check the reputation of a brand you’re considering before

you buy… read customer reviews and look into their service records. The best place to start your research is in a health club! They know the best manufacturers in the world and put those brands on their club floor because they know those machines can withstand the abuse from their members. Wouldn’t you want that trust and credibility behind the machines you put in your home?

BUYER BEWARE: Many products you see online, on TV and on Craigslist are considered “disposable” fitness equipment because they’re designed to be sold, not used. Be sure to buy only from an authorized reseller that stands behind your purchase with service, parts, and a warranty.

Pure Enjoyment Watch whatever you want, read whatever you want, sing at the top of your lungs if you want. When you workout in the comfort and convenience of your own home, there are no rules! Let go of your inhibitions and break a sweat!

Even though we love health clubs and belong to them ourselves, we know they’re not the right solution for everybody. Consider the pros and cons and determine what’s best for you.

TIP: Research shows you’ll stick with your exercise routine through the hard

times if you have access to a club and equipment at home. The most important thing is that you pick one and get moving! Here’s to your health!
