While thorough cleaning and disinfect- ing are part of any janitorial routine, pair- ing this work with touchless dispensers will help reduce the spread of germs and provide greater assurance to patrons that the washroom is clean. A study published in November 2011 in the peer-reviewed scientific journal PLOS ONE identified 19 groups of bacteria on faucet handles, soap dispensers and doors in 12 public wash- rooms. Skin-associated bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus were found on fau- cets and other fixtures we touch with our hands. Who Says Tissue Paper Has to Be White?

Cascades® Moka® tissue products are made from 100% unbleached recycled fi- ber and are the most environmentally re- sponsible choice on the market. By adding 20% corrugated box fiber into the pulp mixture and eliminating bleaching chemi- cals, we’ve achieved an amazing reduction in the environmental impact of our raw material by 25% without compromising the softness of the final product. This innovative recipe reduces green- house gas emissions by 30% compared to our greenest white tissue, also made from 100% recycled fiber. Earlier this year, Cascades extended the Cascades Moka product line with the launch of a facial tis- sue motivated by the success and growing demand for the bathroom tissue. Innovation at the Service of Environ-

ment Honored in the “Best New Product or
