REGIONALFOCUS Business as usual

IT’S BUSINESS as usual at photographic image supplier Ardea Picture Library, but you may have noticed a few little changes recently. In August the entire offi ce, based for many years in leafy

Wandsworth Common, was magically transported overnight to a new location overlooking the open, green spaces of Blackheath, appropriately situated in Tranquil Vale. Still south of the river but about east miles east of their original location and now happily ensconced in the former Church Hall, the team from Ardea shares a delightful working space with new colleagues from their sister company, Mary Evans Picture Library. "Among other infl uences, it's the excitement and buzz of London life that inspires our designs", remarked Ardea’s Angela Blackwood Murray. "The city is full of a wonderful array of sights, sounds and colours that are refl ected in the work of our designers – I can’t imagine wanting to be based anywhere else.” Well known for their cute and quirky animal images – pets, domestic animals and wildlife – the team from Ardea continues to

produce new designs on a regular basis, perfect for greetings cards and other stationery products and merchandise. In many instances they’re also able to offer a bespoke service, and tweak an existing design, altering elements to suit your brief.
