Brighton Run this year in spite of an exceedingly heavy downpour in the South Eastern area between 8 and 10 o’clock on the morning of Sunday 4th December. The rain was somehow a fitting conclusion to the last key motoring event of a very wet year. Fortunately, this rain soon ceased but a cold wind had a devastating effect on the veteran drivers who had enjoyed a glorious sunny day displaying in Regent Street, the day before. It was a welcome base from which to watch the 550 veterans taking part. 42members continued on to "The Bell" at Outwood where the usual hot Sunday lunch revived everyone. Thanks again to
