NLS continues to host fun and exciting programs and events in the upcoming months: Heavy Seas Brewery Tour and Bowling Night at Lucky Strike. These events present great opportunities for you to become more involved in the growth of the MAJ. We need your support to make these programs successful. Therefore, please come out and join us. I also want to welcome MAJ’s newest staff member,

Alison Dodge. Alison will oversee the organization’s Membership Department, focusing on membership recruitment and retention, as well as MAJ’s printed and online publications, public relations, and social media efforts. Alison comes to MAJ with over 13 years of association and nonprofit experience, and previously served as Director of Membership and Communications for the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations, and more recently in development and marketing roles at Jewish Community Services and The Columbia Foundation. MAJ is one of the best Bar Associations in the

nation in many respects. The continued success of MAJ rests on your willingness to get involved and stay involved. And with more member involvement, the Board of Governors can do an even better job of representing its members. Getting involved really does make a difference and we need your help now. If you need more information or have a specific project you want to get involved in, let me know.
