In Memoriam - Roger Greenberg


T


he trial lawyer community lost a dear friend when Roger Greenberg passed away on September 13, 2013.


Roger received his undergraduate degree from the


University of Maryland in 1966 and graduated from The George Washington University School of Law in 1969. Hebegan his career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the District of Columbia, prosecuting delinquency and child neglect matters. Subsequently, he joined a general practice firm, eventually becoming a partner. During his career, he successfully represented thousands of clients in negligence, domestic relations and criminal cases.


In 1985, Roger co-founded the firm of Greenberg&


Bederman in Silver Spring, Maryland, dedicated to representing injury victims and their families. Roger concentrated his practice on auto accidents, premises liability and other serious personal injury victims. Roger was a longstanding member of Maryland


Association for Justice, as well as the American Association for Justice, the District of Columbia


Metropolitan Trial Lawyers Association, the Maryland Bar Association, the D.C. Bar Association, a founding member of the Masters Marketing Group, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He was also a former arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He was recognized as a top-rated attorney by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2010 to 2013. Roger was the beloved husband of Dr. Judith


Greenberg, a noted author and educational consultant, had two children, Mitchell and Wendi Greenberg. He will be sorely missed.
