Skeletons, pumpkins and zombies were just some of the great outfits worn to the Halloween family disco in October.
For one night only the Henry Brown Youth Centre was transformed into a spooky family clubhouse with a disco and local volunteers acting as entertainers on the dance floor.
The event, which was organised by West Howe Community Enterprises and
Funbunch with support from North Bournemouth Rotary Club, saw over 140 people attend the event, which included games, a tombola, glow sticks, sweets and hotdogs. There was also a fancy dress competition which saw two winners receive tickets donated by Farmer Palmers and Swanage railway for a free family pass.
Jackie Grabowski, chair of Funbunch said "It was a brilliant event that gave
everyone a chance to come together and have some safe fun, parents have said that their children had an amazing time and we managed to raise about £300 which will go to help other local initiatives".
