Sir Craig Reedie CBE talks to Scotland players on a special visit to see the facelift given to Glasgow’s Cockburn Centre. Sir Craig was the original project manager when the former paint factory was converted into a community badminton centre and offices for BADMINTONscotland back in 1980. Sir Craig, a former President of both BADMINTONscotland and the BWF and now a vice-president of the InternationalOlympic Committee and the new president ofWADA, was impressed by the improvements. The Cockburn Centre facelift includes new flooring and lighting and improved changing rooms. The Centre will be

a key training facility in the countdown to the Commonwealth Games next summer. Sir Craig will be one of BADMINTONscotland’s guests at finals day of the Scottish Open Grand Prix.
