What is vPBX ?


vPBX stands for Virtual PBX (Private Branch Exchange). Virtual PBX or Centrex, is a Telephony Service offered by Rolaware Hellas to Enterprises having 30-180 extensions per Enterprise Location. Larger numbers of extensions can be served also.


vPBX in practice is offering a complete array of PBX features to the Enterprise, without the latter needed to investigate in CAPEX buying a new PBX. Enterprises can enjoy all traditional PBX features and many more, because it is based on VoIP technology accompanied with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) signaling. It’s a service (OPEX), requiring a monthly rent per active extension.


vPBX is a hosted service, located at Rolaware’s systems placed at MED Nautilus Data Center in Athens. It is served to customer premises by utilizing the broadband wireless network of Rolaware.


vPBX is a managed service by Rolaware, meaning that software upgrades, features add-ons, new extensions, trunks etc. are executed by Rolaware personnel.


vPBX combined with Rolaware Telephony services (e.g. calls termination and collection, numbering portability etc) , Internet Access, VPN and Leased Line, providing total solution for Enterprise telecom needs.
