 Capacities per link up 500 Mbps (plus overheads). Capacities can be doubled up to 1 Gbps by using XPIC techniques.


 Systems support native Ethernet and native TDM traffic fully separated.  Multiple modulation schemes are available from 256 QAM down to QPSK.


 B/W management uses Ethernet header compression techniques achieving up to 45% efficiency (table 1).
