editorial@robson.com | SUN LAKES SPLASH | October 2013 Cheers Singles wine tasting

Cheers members enjoyed wine tasting at the home of Laurie Starr.

Ron Leimer, Publicity Cheers Singles Club held the monthly

(second Wednesday of each month) wine tasting event at the home of Laurie Starr. About 23 members attended this popular event which is usually very well attended. Depending on the size of the host’s home we usually have a cut off of about 20 people. If you want to attend the October event sign up on the bulletin board early as it does fi ll up fast! Thanks to Joe Sharpless and Jan Koehler for organizing this monthly event for us; great job in keeping us all informed for the year! Also thanks to Laurie for hosting such a large group; well done as usual! Guests bring the food for the evening, the host furnishes the wine and a donation amount is collected for members who attend. Great evening of fun so sign up and join us next month! Cheers is open to all single residents

living in Sun Lakes, SunBird and Springfi eld. Membership for the year is only $20 and well worth the events that you will fi nd of your choosing. Small group events

meet monthly and large events are held throughout the year. Coming up is the Halloween Party, always a well attended party with plenty of costumes to admire. The Christmas party in December with the 60 Plus Club will be announced soon; watch your Cheers newsletter for sign up date and time. Holidays
