Association will hold its fall meeting on Monday, October 14, at 10:00 a.m. in the Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club. We encourage all members to attend this meeting, as well as anyone who is a resident of Sun Lakes who would like to join our Association. Dues are $10 annually. After a short meeting, you will have the opportunity to sign up for the Fall Holiday


Show, which will be held on Saturday, November 30, from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Country Club. Our members are working hard to


present a show fi lled with creative, handcrafted items including quilts, jewelry, gourds, accessory items, ceramics, paintings and much more. These beautiful works of art make special, one of a kind, gifts for the holidays and other occasions. We look forward to seeing you at our meeting in preparation for our show. 

Her true-life story is currently in the developmental stages of being made into a fi lm based on her book Soaring above the Ashes on the Wings of Forgiveness. The book has been published in six countries. She is also the author of two other books, numerous articles, essays and poetry. Kitty understands pain; more importantly, she knows the joy of thriving in the freedom of forgiveness. Her talk titled “The Gift of Choice” is one of courage, power and grace.
