Welcome to another issue of Meldreth Matters. I would like to thank Richard for so ably completing the August issue for me. Although the MM team rarely meet, support is always there if needed and it is much appreciated. Apart from anything else, it’s nice to know that I can take a holiday from time to time!!

It’s been a busy summer in the village with fetes, concerts, tea parties, test pitting, quizzes, exhibitions and workshops taking place in addition to the regular village activities. This level of activity looks set to continue into the autumn and this issue includes plenty of opportunities for participating in village life.

If you would like to become more involved, why not join the Village Hall Trust Committee? They are looking for a secretary. There can be few of us who have not used our Village Hall and this would be an excellent way of giving something back to the community and of meeting more people. Please see page 10 for further details.

Kathryn
