Strawberry Line TIMES

This month we celebrate our first birthday. In September last year we published the first issue - scraping just enough advertising together to pay the printer. Issue number two didn’t come out until December - covering two months with issue three published also as a bi-monthly for February and March.

The first issue featured a fashion shoot in Axbridge with the help of several models, Acutabove, Elaine Turner Photography, Bridal Boutique and Cleopatra’s Wardrobe.

It was so popular with readers we’ve kept it as a fixture - setting a style and a theme - and an unashamed feminine- friendly tone - in contrast to the politics, news insight features and nostalgia for era of the Strawberry Line.

My thanks go to the volunteer models who have lent such elegance to the publication and to the shops and businesses who have supported us. Readers generally appear to love the magazine - from teenagers to those who once caught the trains on the line - so thank you for the positive feedback we have had each issue.

We hope you enjoy the eclectic mix of fashion, news, nostalgia and glamour. Kind regards,

Harry Mottram, editor
