Susan Motkaluk, chief administrative officer for the City of Swift Current has been the catalyst in helping push the rebirth of Swift Current’s downtown region.


Motkaluk, who lives downtown with her young family, says there is every reason to believe in the future of her city.


“Our whole city council here is forward-thinking. The spirit of the city is forward-thinking. There’s quite a


demand for the city to have that dynamic and diverse identity. And, from my perspective, we’re certainly working hard on image-making and place-making.”
