Awards for All—Scotland


Awards for All is a small grants programme (grants of between £500 and £10,000) provided by the Big Lottery Fund, Sportscotland and the Scottish Arts Council. It aims to fund projects that will improve the quality of life for local communities.


Grants are available for voluntary and community groups, charities, not-for- profit organisations and statutory bodies including town councils, to carry out


projects that meet the fol- lowing aims and objec- tives:





To provide people with better chances in life, including better access to training and devel- opment, new activi- ties and volunteer- ing to improve their life skills.





To foster safer, stronger communi- ties that are able to


tackle inequalities.  


To improve sustain- able services and environments.


To promote healthi- er and more active lifestyles.

Edinburgh Airport Community Board—Community Fund


Grants are available to support local sport, health and wellbeing, environ- ment and educational initi- atives in Edinburgh, Lothi- ans and Fife.


The Edinburgh Airport Community Board was established in 2006 to in- vest in good causes and local projects in Edin- burgh, Lothians and Fife.


The aim of the Board is to


provide funding to contrib- ute to local projects and good causes covering the themes of education, health and well-being, environment and sport.


No minimum or maximum level of grant is specified.


Applications can be made at any time and will be considered on the follow- ing date: 14 November 2013. Applications must be


received at least two weeks prior to the relevant Community Board meet- ing.

Red House Home Trust


The Red House Home Trust offers grants to charitable organisations active in the East Lothian area of Scot- land.


Funding is intended to assist organisations which offer support, education and training of young peo- ple under the age of 22 residing in East Lothian. Support is also offered to organisations that assist


young people who are living in deprived circum- stances or require help adjusting to independent living.


Grants range from £250 to £1,000.
