World’s Longest Colour Sequence Memorised


Sancy Suraj Singh memorised a sequence of


160 randomly generated colours on the computer screens for 5 min 20 sec. He then proceeded to write the sequence on a piece of paper with a perfect score. The event was hosted by ITE College East at its Staff Clubhouse on 14 Apr 2012. Sancy runs the memory training company, Pinnacle Minds.

Grandmaster Norm Of Memory Michelle Low , 23, was ranked 18th at the World Memory Championship (WMC) 2004, held at Manchester, UK. Singapore’s fi rst Grandmaster Norm of Memory, Low had attempted and successfully recalled the sequence of 940 playing cards.

Fastest Recall Of One Pack Of Cards Alan Yip Tak Ho took 2 min 52 sec to memorise the order of one pack of standard playing cards that were shuffl ed by SBOR adjudicators. He recalled the exact order in 4 min 56 sec on 19 Mar 2007. Yip is the Founder and Master Trainer of Mind Edge.

On 14 Sep 2008, Ainan Celeste Cawley set a world age record for the memorisation of pi, reciting 518 digits, on camera. He was just 8 years and 9 months old. He is the youngest to have recited this many digits.


Fastest Completion Of 4 Sudoku Puzzles Gabriel Gan Rong De, 14, of Fairfi eld Methodist solved 4 sudoku puzzles in 5 min 49 sec. That is an average of 1 min 27 sec per puzzle. Gabriel won the third prize in the Brand’s Asia Pacifi c Sudoku Challenge, held in Oct 2010. to have recited this many digits.


Highest Memory Score In Speed Numbers Alan Yip Tak Ho recalled 120 digits correctly in the memorisation of random numbers. He had 5 min to memorise and 15 min to recall. The event was organised by Mind Edge on 21 Mar 2010.

the fastest person to complete 10 sums without a mistake. Each sum has 10 numbers and each number has 10 digits. She calculated them mentally and broke her own record at the CMA competition at Republic Polytechnic on 29 May 2011. She completed the sums in 3 min 59 sec.
