My inspiration


- Seeta Wrightson, Editor and Writer at UK Greetings MY inspiration for this design was my own dad, who is less than tech savvy and relies on me to help with all technology related matters!


Although it is like speaking a different language to him sometimes, he’s always really appreciative of the help. I wanted the voice of the piece to be conversational to fi t with the Carlton Brand, which is very much about speaking in a down-to- earth naturalistic way.


I felt the subject matter was something a lot of people could


relate to, and the light-hearted humour makes it fun and more accessible, though the sentiment is still very heartfelt.


PHOTOGRAPHIC


PHOTOGRAPHS capture the special moments we want to remember forever, freezing a memory allowing us to look back and reminisce. This range from Gibson features situational photography that evokes memories of moments shared with loved ones. When you receive a ‘Captured In Time card’, it takes you back to summer afternoons, the buzz of bees and the fresh smell of cut grass. Paired with heartfelt verse, this range connects the sender and recipient, delivering relevant words in a perfect tone.


TRADITIONAL


TRADITIONAL designs continue to dominate the male market. And meeting the needs of the sophisticated, masculine recipient is the ‘Serenity’ range from Gibson which combines classic art styling with iconic pastimes and imagery we associate with the men in our lives. The outdoors is the perfect escape from busy lives and there’s nothing more relaxing than taking in a scenic view. The watercolour illustrations of Serenity are refi ned, debonair and masculine, showcasing popular leisure pursuit, sports and hobbies.

● Crackers features cute and endearing animals, bright bold artwork and conversational copy with a cheeky punch line. Developed by Giggles artist Debbie King, the Plasticine characters really come to life, jumping off the page and out of displays. The Crackers range is available across a

● My Monster recognises the traits the men in our lives have… good and bad. With a super Husband monster and the farting Dad monster, this rib-tickling range is sure to put a smile on the recipient’s face. The humorous characters and fun rhymes are available across a variety of captions.


● Awkward Family Photos is exactly that… awkward!! This very relatable range captures the embarrassing family moments we just want to forget. With very little copy, the imagery in this photographic range says it all. Available in seasonal and everyday.


● An ongoing favourite from Hanson White, Say Cheese is retro,


witty and versatile. Combining eccentric photographic images with quirky statement humour, the range is a slightly cheeky send for the men in your life.
