The line of sycamore, ash and Norway maple along the rear boundary are significant within the skyline of the High Street. Given the openness of the public house car park, these trees form a backdrop to the new development. The Parish Council is in agreement with the proposal of installing a TPO on these trees.

Parish Council recommend approval with comments. 'There is major concern that there are not enough car parking spaces for both staff and visitors at any one time. The Parish Council would like to see details concerning the utilisation of plant and contractors vehicles during construction as there are already problems with parking along the High Street. Concern is also expressed as many wheelchair users from Meldreth Manor School also use this footway.
