Loving the 1940s look


Crimping, curling, straightening, extending. Yes, the skills of the hairdresser are many and varied - and the stylists at Acutabove are certainly put through their paces when it comes to the fashion shoots for Strawberry Line Times. This month they took our two models back to the 1940s with stunning affect with Chloe’s blonde bun a complex texture of intricately woven hair while a synthetic bun roll was used to create Indie’s Victory Roll to give height and stability. Acutabove have two Aveda Salons in the district and are appointed Cloud Nine retailers. Beauty treatments include manicure, pedicure CND shellac, OPI, SiennaX spray tan, Lash Perfect extensions and are known for their outstanding politeness and service.

They look glamorous and colourful - despite the wet weather. And it was all in a good cause. Organised by Cleopatra’s Wardrobe in Winscombe a fashion show helped to raise cash for charity in the dampness of last month.
