15-day half- or fully accommodated Safari from and to Arusha: Become an eye-witness to the spectacular migration of the wildebeest and their mysterious trails through the Southern Plains of the Serengeti, Ikoma and Grumeti Wildlife area and the Masai Mara. Your journey follows the annual wildebeest migration. A highlight of your journey will be the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. After a short stop at the busy city of Nairobi your safari ends with a visit at Amboseli National Park, well-known for its large population of elephants and breathtaking background of Kilimanjaro.


Days 1: Arusha, Tanzania You will be collected from the airport and transferred to your lodge. The rest of the day is spent at leisure and in preparation for your safari. Overnight: Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge or similar


Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania After breakfast and your pre-departure meeting you will get picked up from your hotel in Arusha for an early start to the experience of a lifetime! We visit the Arusha Market for some last minute preparation, before setting off towards Lake Manyara National Park, part of today’s destination. Manyara NP is not only known for its large flocks of flamingos, but also for the elusive tree climbing lions. Enjoy a night game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Cultural experience nearby Manyara, Tanzania Today, you experience some cultural diversity. Experience a Chagga family producing banana beer while on village tour of Mto-wa-Mbu and indulge in a delicious, home-cooked meal in a local household. We return to our lodge for a rest, before we visit the nearby children orphanage center and school in the afternoon. Overnight: Moivaro Migunga Tented Camp or similar


Day 4: Tarangire National Park, Tanzania Today we set out to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Breathtaking views of the Maasai Steppe and the mountains to the south make a stop at Tarangire a memorable experience. Overnight: Moivaro Migunga Tented Camp or similar


Days 5 – 7: Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Park, Tanzania This morning we have an early departure for a game drive in the world renowned Ngorongoro Crater. For many, this wildlife spectacle is the pinnacle of their safari experience. After a picnic lunch, we head towards the Serengeti through the stunning Southern Plains. This is the area that the Serengeti is best known for: – endless, undulating grass savannah with rocky outcrops that serve as isolated wildlife refuges. The following two days are spent on full days of game driving around the Seronera area of the Serengeti. Overnight: Kananga Special Tented Camp or similar


Days 8: Serengeti National Park to Lake Victoria, Tanzania After breakfast we make our way to Lake Victoria. We pass through the villages of the Sukuma tribe, who grow ground nuts, sorghum, cassava as well as keeping livestock. Life carries on here, simply as it has done for century, but with a few poignant reminders of the 20th Centuries. We will take an afternoon boat cruise on the Lake to enjoy the view. Days 9 & 10: Lake Victoria to Masai Mara, Kenya This morning you have the opportunity to take part in a canoe paddle before we bid Lake Victoria farewell and continue our journey northwards and across the border into Kenya. We are now heading to the Masai Mara National Park. The Masai Mara covers an area that includes the riverine forests along the banks of the Mara and Talek Rivers, acacia forests and the open plains of the savannah. The next day is spent game viewing in this world-famous national park. Overnight: Masai Mara Eden Tented Camp or similar
