Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical


Installations (2394-01) This qualification helps you to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to professionally design and install or inspect and test electrical installations. This comprises one mandatory unit: Principles, practices and legislation for the final verification of electrical installations. Entry requirements: This will suit you if you are a qualified electrician and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard. Possible next steps: Our qualifications can lead directly into employment, offering you the chance to develop your skills and knowledge to a high standard recognised by the industry.


Length of course (weeks): 10 Hours per week: 3


Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of


Electrical Installations (2395-01) This qualification has been developed for practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training before progressing to other City & Guilds qualifications. This qualification comprises one mandatory unit: Principles, practices and legislation for the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of electrical installations Entry requirements: This qualification is ideal if you are a qualified electrician and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard. Possible next steps: Our qualifications can lead directly into employment, offering learners the chance to develop their skills and knowledge to a high standard recognised by the industry.
