Corsetry The course aims to teach learners the specific skills required for making corsets. It is recommended that learners attend the first term in order to gain a full understanding of the corset making process and will make a standard size and style corset before making their own size/style. The Spring Term focuses solely on pattern making. Learners will make a pattern to their own size and chosen style. Learners should also expect that the pattern making process will take the full 10 weeks to complete. In the Summer Term learners who have made their own pattern in the Spring Term will construct their corsets. Learners joining the course will make the standard pattern as in the Autumn Term.
