2013 HIGHLIGHTS: Allen won for the fourth time on the Champions Tour when he finished one ahead of Bernhard Langer at the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic in March. He began the final round at Fallen Oak two strokes back, but seven birdies in his first 13 holes, including five in a row on Nos. 3-7, helped him grab the lead and he held on despite bogeys on three of his final five holes.


DID YOU KNOW: As a 14-year- old, Allen and a friend hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite, a distance of 210 miles. The trip took the pair three weeks.

2013 HIGHLIGHTS: On Cinco de Mayo, Toledo became the first player from Mexico to win on the Champions Tour when he claimed the Insperity Championship near Houston. He defeated Mike Goodes and Gene Sauers in a playoff to win the title after shooting a final-round 67 to come from seven strokes back to get into the overtime session. After Sauers


dropped from the


playoff with a bogey on the second extra hole, Toledo made a par on the third playoff hole to win.


DID YOU KNOW: Toledo learned to play golf while working at a driving range in Mexico. He was the youngest of 11 children who grew up in a home with dirt floors and no plumbing and had a stint as a professional boxer for four years with a 16-1 record.
