2013 HIGHLIGHTS: The UCLA graduate won his first PGA TOUR title at the Northern Trust Open in his sixth start at Riviera CC to become the first player from Los Angeles County to win the event. He made a par-4 on the second playoff hole (No. 10) to defeat Charlie Beljan. The victory was the 18th playoff in tournament history and the second consecutive at the event.


DID YOU KNOW: As a Long Beach native and former UCLA golfer, Merrick attended many LA Opens as a spectator.

withstood snow, sleet, rain and high winds outside Tucson (AZ) to emerge victorious at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship in February. Kuchar held off a hard-charging Hunter Mahan, the


defending


champion, in the championship match to win 2 and 1. Kuchar did not play the 18th hole all week, joining only Luke Donald as a champion to avoid the home hole all week. He also finished T8 at the Masters for his second top 10 in seven starts in the event.


DID YOU KNOW: Kuchar’s wife, Sybi, is a former tennis player at Georgia Tech and they have teamed in mixed doubles competitions.

2013 HIGHLIGHTS: Thompson made a birdie-4 on the 72nd hole of The Honda Classic to post a 1-under 69, securing a two-stroke victory over Geoff Ogilvy for his first PGA TOUR title. The win snapped a streak of international winners at The Honda Classic, which dated to 2008. The win also made him the third player in his 20s to win on TOUR during the campaign, joining Dustin Johnson and Russell Henley. One week after winning in Palm Beach Gardens, Thompson finished T8 at the Cadillac Championship in his first World Golf Championships start.
