THE story of Hollywood star Tom Cruise’s visit to the Veer Dhara restaurant in St Albans last year has been made into a short fi lm. ‘Tom Tom’ was entered into the Hertfordshire town’s inaugural Film Festival, which showcased the county’s historic links with the fi lm industry. Created by folk singer Daria Kulesh it is a comic video featuring lots of people wearing Tom Cruise masks and eating curry. Cruise was in Hertfordshire last August for the


fi lming of All You Need Is Kill, which was shot at the county’s Leavesden Studios, when he and some friends visited the restaurant for a curry. It is reported that the star ordered lobster and chicken tikka masala. n
