continue backing them by displaying their work in a setting that will expose it to a wider audience. The artists currently exhibiting at the restaurant are Kevin Day, John Coatsworth, Roy Francis Kirton, Tony Marshall, Jim Edwards and Ray Campbell. Dennis Anderson, of Bridekirk Fine Art, a company that promotes the artists, said:

“There are six very special artists currently exhibiting paintings at Raval, and we’re very grateful to the restaurant for giving them this opportunity. These painters have won acclaim far and wide, but even so it’s often difficult for them to find suitable exhibition venues. Hopefully, this link- up with Raval will mean many people will be seeing their work for the first time.” Raval manager Avi Malik added: “The arts in general are going through a difficult time at the moment and we want to do all we can to support local talent. Already customers are beginning to make comments about the wonderful paintings on show, some of which are originals.” n
