Melbourn and Meldreth Women’s Group

Our April meeting was in Holy Trinity Church meeting room. Unfortunately our speaker had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

Instead the

twenty members had a session of playing beetle, which judging by the laughter was much enjoyed. Our thanks go to Bridget and Janet for preparing and serving the refreshments.

Our next meeting will be held in the Holy Trinity Church meeting room on 25th June. This is our summer supper, to which members may bring a guest. Tickets are available from Pat or Sue and must be purchased in advance. There will be a ploughman’s supper followed by puddings. We will hold a raffle for Arthur Rank House Hospice, which is our chosen charity for this year.

If you would like to know more about the group please contact Pat or Sue on (01763) 260955 or come to one of our meetings and see what we do. Usually we have a guest speaker or some sort of in -house entertainment followed by tea/coffee and biscuits. There is no annual fee; just £1 on the evening with an option to donate to the charity pot.
