U.K. The fund became a small charity in 2010 and has given support in the provision of teaching aids and equipment of various sorts. The school roll has more than doubled since 2006 and the need for more teaching space has seen our largest donation in 2012 towards the building of three classrooms which are nearly complete. Although the government provide the teachers all the buildings and much of the day to day running costs are funded through parental fees (about £30 a year), gifts and donations. The Charity seeks to fund capital projects and developmental improvements and encourages the self help ethos which started the school and remains a core value. The support of such events as the John Rutter evening and generous donations enables the Charity to continue its contribution to giving young people to develop their potential and make a full contribution to human living in a widely different context from our own.
