Meldreth Pre-School

With summer finally upon us the children are enjoying lots of time outside in the garden. They had great fun making a miniature garden for the May Fayre and were very excited to come second in the competition. Lots of the children also took part on the stage with a disco duck demonstration: we hope those of you who were there enjoyed it as much as the children did! A big thank you to Gail and the staff for pulling this together.

The children are also looking forward to a day out to the Shepreth Wildlife Park later in June. They are going to travel on the train and will have a great adventure, seeing all the animals. We know the children have really enjoyed these summer treats in the past and we’re sure this one will be great fun too.

On Friday 14th June we are holding a Race Night to raise funds for the pre-school. Doors will open at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start. The entrance fee is only £1 and we will have a licensed bar, chilli and hot potatoes and other snacks. The races will be shown on a big screen and money can be won! Please come along and support what promises to be a great night.

We are a friendly pre-school offering a high quality term time service at competitive rates in line with NEF funding. We take children from the age of two and are happy to welcome children in nappies. The pre- school has very close links with the village Primary School. The staff team is very friendly and will be happy to arrange a visit for your child. Just ring the doorbell whenever the pre-school is in session, when our board is displayed outside. Why not pop into the Village Hall and pick up one of the application forms that are displayed on our notice board?
