UP FRONT PPG GOES MOBILE


PPG Protective and Marine Coatings (PPG) has launched a mobile version of its popular online Wind Power System Selector, enabling users to gather detailed data on coatings for a range of onshore and offshore applications.


The Wind Power System Selector was the first in a range of manuals to be produced by PPG for the power segment, and the second release sees a fully mobile version, reflecting customer needs for increased operational flexibility.


The system provides customers with detailed information about PPG coating systems and advises which company it recommends for use under different circumstances. Users can select from a range of locations, performance and environmental criteria and the system will return a set of options, each of which can be drilled into more deeply, providing product specification,


required surface treatment and information on the coating system itself. Ron Van Den Broek, Global Segment Manager – Power, PPG said: “The Wind


Power System Selector gives quick access to cascading levels of detail on PPG coating systems for onshore and offshore wind applications.
