A catastrophic legislative storm can create a tremen- dous amount of damage. Burdensome ordinances, legislation and regulations can tremendously affect YOUR RESIDENTS, YOUR CLIENTS, YOUR JOB and YOUR COMPANY’S FINANCIAL SECURITY. TAA advocates for and against public policy related to the problems and concerns of rental housing owners and professionals, but we need your HELP! Candidates elected during this election cycle will become the “decision makers” of tomorrow. TAA supports those candidates who UNDERSTAND and are receptive to our industry’s positions.

If you DO NOT protect your industry, WHO will? In or- der to make an impact and a difference in our industry WE NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION TODAY. Invest in

the TAA-PAC and/or the Triangle Community Owners and Residents Alliance (TCORA) today and help us be the voice of the rental housing industry in the Triangle!

What is TCORA? The Triangle Community Owners and Residents Alli- ance (TCORA) is a nonprofit advocacy organization that focuses on issues of importance to the rental housing community throughout the Triangle area. The Alliance will work with and on behalf of these owners and residents to raise awareness of issues that could potentially impact you, your property and residents’ ability to live in the community at a reasonable cost.

How has TCORA Helped You? Thanks to generous contribution from our members,

TCORA funds have been utilized to advocate our opposition to any further expansion on the City of Ra- leigh’s Probationary Rental Occupancy Permit (PROP). While we have been successful thus far, it is important to establish a well-funded alliance to continue to keep apartment living an affordable and viable option for Triangle residents. Corporate contributions are welcomed. We hope that you will consider supporting your livelihood by making a contribution today!

Join us at our next Government Affairs Committee meeting on May 9, let us know your concerns, give us your ideas, and help us advance TAA government affairs. As always, feel free to contact Cheryl at 919.782.1165 x 4 or
