Jim Rogers has served as an Account Manager with Murray Supply for one and a half years. He can be reached at He serves on the TAA Products and Services Committee and participated on the 2012 5-Star Dinner Subcommittee.

When asked how valuable have your relationships with organizations such as the Triangle Apartment Association been to your business, Terry stated “invaluable in communicating with like-minded people in the industry.”

ARMCO has been in the Triangle area, serving the multifamily in- dustry for three and a half years. Terry explains, “We are a general contractor company that specializes in renovations, remodels, main- tenance and repairs.”

Jim explains that “the TAA has been invaluable to our business. Being new to the market it helped to make important contacts and establish our credibility and commitment to Raleigh/Durham. It is truly a great resource and we are impressed with the organization and support we receive in relation to other associations, which can range from helpful to mediocre.”

Murray Supply has been serving the Triangle for close to one and a half years and plans to open a distribution center in the very near future. They are a full line MRO (Maintenance, Repairs, Operations) distributor to the apartment industry, including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, hardware, appliances, window coverings, janitorial, tools, paint and pool supplies.

Jim shared that “Murray Supply was originally founded as a plumbing company over 45 years ago with 6 branches located throughout North Carolina. They en- tered the MRO industry just 5 years ago with our warehouse in Charlotte. We recently received “Branch of the Year” for the entire company.” And, the com- pany is third generation family owned and operated, founded in 1965 by Mr. C.V. Murray and his son Mr. Walt Murray.
