It’s a story that includes Scotland. Some of you will recognise the couple in the picture. Ma and Pa Row (Elsie and Fran Rowbotham). Ma and Pa Row were people of prayer, a man and woman of God. Their ministry in representa- tion work, training, conferences are a testament to God’s faithfulness and of what God can do. Over the years WEC has had various ministries in Scotland—Conference Centre in Kilcreggan (which Bill Aitken was involved in), Missionary Training College in Glasgow (which Bill and Jim attended) and a Children's Home in Arbroath.

It’s a story with a Swiss chapter. Actually WEC Switzerland was started by a Scotsman, David Batchelor in 1948. Mirjam and I have been part of the team based in Ruti since 1990. We have had the joy of seeing God at work not only in Switzerland but being involved in seeing others going from Switzerland out into the world.

I’m involved in computer support and graphics including the layout of our bi-monthly magazine. Mirjam is involved with other members of the team in the representation for the mission in Switzerland. We have two children Fiona and Craig and we would ask that you remember them in prayer. Fiona has left school but has been unable to find a job. Craig is in his last year at school and has to find a training place for next year.
