Puttin’ on the Dog

ana Humphrey Seize the Moment

That’s what Dana does every day in every way for every client; she seizes the day and spreads the word. She does a little stealing the show on behalf of her clients, too.

Follow-up is her forte. It’s what fuels her successful New York-based business. “The fortune is in the follow- UP!,” emphasizes Dana. And, she adds, “You have to network, network, network and give freely with your contacts.”

Most of Dana’s conversations include the phrase, “Do you know So-and-So? If not, let me introduce you.” In fact, the compliment Dana loves hearing the most is, “This is Dana. She knows everyone.”

From Treats to Travel

Whitegate PR is representing businesses from many pet categories. Dana’s clients currently range from compa- nies that create or sell products such as pet treats and apparel to pet travel experts, veterinarians and grooming experts who want their services well-represented in the pet industry.

This time of year, Dana works with clients to plan pro- jects and strategize. “Spring is the time of plans and pro- jects. Spring is a great time to look at the rest of your year and evaluate. When opportunities come, you have to seize the moment!”

Dana’s philosophy is, “Let us tell you (not sell you) about all the best pet products in the industry.”

With a focus on marketing and public relations for consumer products and services, spe- cifically in the pet industry, Dana’s mis- sion is to bring an or- ganization’s market share to the next level, via

tuned-in online marketing and public rela- tions, in a cost- effective way.

“At Whitegate PR, we specialize in delivering multi- faceted marketing and strategic public relations cam- paigns. We’re effective in reaching target audiences to meet – and exceed – clients’ goals,” she explains.

Monster the Fish

Right now, Monster the fish is Dana’s rock star pet. She’s never been without some kind of furry, feathered or finned sidekick. There’s been Bridget the Fidget, her pet rat, and Winston, the pug, for instance.

“Pets are an important piece of the puzzle for me,” says Dana. “I’ve been in the pet industry for about 10 years now, and there is no turning back! Pet people are a fun kind of crazy that I can jive with.” Contact Dana at 619-414-9307 or dana@whitegatepr.com.
