ActOn Vibrota Tub Series Machines

Tubtype machines have awork chamber that is rectangular in shape with the power- ful heavy-duty vibratory motor fitted to it. In the tub machine, the vibrations impart a vertical movement to the chamber, inducing arolling movement in the media. Tubs are ideally suited to processing large, long,orirregular

parts. Extraction of the parts

is done manually.Standard Tubcapacities range from 85 litres (3 cu ft.) up to 565 litres (20 cu ft.) however,smaller and larger bespoke sizes can be manufactured to suit specific component requirements.

ActOn Vibratory Bowl Drying Machines

The range of ActOn vibratory bowl drying (VBD) machines have aunique elliptical shape, which gives more drying area in the machine, and take up less floor space than conventional bowl drying machines. The machines are designed to be linked to our range of ‘S’ Type (separation) vibratory bowl finishing machines -giving acont- inuous process of surface finishing, part/ media separation and in to the drying machine. The Drier can also be sited remotely, if required.

Again, the main features of the ActOn Vibratory Drying machines are the powerful heavy-duty vibratory motor and hot cured polyurethane lining (for longer life). The control panel has been carefully designed to give arange of temperature options to meet with the most demanding drying requirements. An optional item of aself- cleaning dust extraction unit can be supplied (recommended), which gives excellent results removing Maizorb dust.

ActOn High Energy Machines

The design and development of ActOn’s High Energy machines takes product finishing to anew level. With an order of magnitude greater ‘energy’imparted into the media, the use of Centrifugal High Energy machines enables finishing

processing times to be dramatically reduced for most materials/ components. It is one of the most efficient batch finishing methods and specific advan- tages are seen on metals where pre-

is required, or ahigh degree of surface finish is critical.

This equipment range has capacities from 10 litres up to 240 litres. The system

has hinged barrels for ease of loading/ unloading and also has

replaceable polyurethane liners. The machines

incorporate aCom-ponent/Media Separation Unit.

COMPOUND DOSING UNITS: ActOn Compound Dosing Pump accura- tely meters the correct (optimum) volumes of Compound and water, minimising opera- tional costs of consumables.

REFURBISHMENT: Bowl/tub re-lining service. We can refurbish your existing machines, saving the cost of anew installation. We also supply genuine parts for all our machines. We carry arange of machines which are pre owned or refurbished. All equipment is completely tested to original standard before it is offered for sale.

ActOn AUTOMATED FINISHING SYSTEMS: Semi-automated and Fully automated machines and finishing systems is the way Industry is moving.

ActOn specialises in designing and manu- facturing bespoke, specialist product finishing systems –either for manual operation, or as programmable/automated as the Customer requires. The program in the PLC operated machines can be customized to Customer requirements, with several ‘recipe’ selections programmed-in, for various finishing conditions for different components, materials, quantities, batch times etc.

SUB-CONTRACT SERVICE: Acton's state of the art Subcontract facility is fully equipped for metal finishing and includes High Energy finishing,Vibratory finishing and manual polishing.Wecarry out work for various industries including Aerospace, Automotive, etc.

Various pieces of equipment can be incorporated to provide afully automated system –from receipt of the various parts to be processed, to depositing them for subsequent operations, completely surface finished. Examples of equipment that can be incorporated are:
