Blanket Answer 800g

Blanket Answer is a unique blend of minerals and enzymes to combat blanket weed.

The special formula works where many bacteria cultures fail. It is 100% safe for fish and desirable aquatic plants.

Blanket Answer is simply added to the pond by pouring the mixed powder and pond water from a designated watering can evenly over the surface. The pond will initially take on a milky appearance, but this will clear after about 5 days. An 800g bottle is sufficient to treat 10,000 litres (10m3

Excalibar 25L - Barley Straw Extract

Excalibar is an established, environment- friendly extract of barley straw preparation to fight and control algae.

• Not a herbicide. It comes as an easily- applied solution, and is harmless to fish and other animals

• Produced under carefully controlled conditions, and is batch-tested to maintain consistent concentrations of antialgae compounds

• 100% active from the moment it is poured into the water, and blocks further growth of the algae present. Because it does not directly kill the algae, Excalibar should ideally be used as a preventive tool, and added in the spring, before the algae begin to grow strongly. It can still be used under algal bloom conditions, but may take some weeks to bring the bloom under control, as the algal cells expire. Suspended algae (green and blue-green species) succumb to Excalibar more quickly than filamentous types

Application Rates: When used as a preventative - 5l per acre for weeks 1 & 2 and then week 3 onwards 1l per acre per week.

controls swimming or

floating unicellular and filamentous algae found in ponds, lakes and all stagnant expanses of water favouring their development. The algae develop and proliferate in nutrient-rich waters and are the main cause of oxygen depletion of the water following their decay. Apart from aesthetic

unpleasantness caused, they create a physical obstacle to activities such as irrigation, water sports, fishing and fish farming. ProCrystal®

very

quickly consumes and degrades the excess nitrogen (nitrates and ammoniacal) and phosphates that algae feed on to develop. The algae die swiftly after treatment by being deprived of the nourishment essential to their development.
