This year our new PWS - Plant, Water, Soil testing service makes a convenient, informative, specialist testing service available to all our customers. Carried out in conjunction with an independent, accredited and UK based laboratory, it has been designed to help our customers make the best-informed decisions in total confidence.
Our improved product portfolio, experienced and knowledgeable team of turf experts, informative website and popular Telford/Shrewsbury based trade counter means ALS have never been better placed to serve customers in our goal of helping you create the very best in sports turf, landscapes, lawns and horticulture, irrespective of whether you are one of our national stadium clients, an esteemed golf course or simply a proud domestic lawn owner.
We are main distributors
for many of the leading amenity product manufacturers and suppliers, such as: Bayer Environmental Science, Syngenta, Everris, Lebanon Fertilisers, Limagrain, DLF Seeds, Headland, Grassline Paints and the Maxwell ranges, whilst our Natural Solutions range of plant health products features organic and recycled options. We take pride in offering a comprehensive range of other, smaller accessories and turf care essentials, ranging from travelling sprinklers, PPE and chemical storage to agronomy tools and beyond.
We realise the importance of reacting quickly to the needs of our customer and, with many products, can offer an overnight delivery service to mainland UK addresses, on request. We also have considerable experience of servicing international customers and can export worldwide if required.
In addition to our core business focusing on products and specialist advice, our experienced Contract Services team focus on large scale pesticide spraying, turf renovation and turf drainage. Spraying covers a wide area of operations from sports turf to highways and streets to bracken spraying. We have a specialised training department with links to leading industry education bodies and qualification boards. ALS Contracts has over 25 years experience with a dedicated team of operators. Dave and Jan Harvey coordinate quotations, bookings and job allocations, doing their utmost to ensure that all your needs are met. In emergencies they will do their best to attend within 24/36 hours. If poor
weather intervenes they will liaise in advance and rebook, starting as early as you like to ensure minimal disruption to play.

ALS currently employs around forty staff, many of whom are professionally qualified amenity agronomists with BASIS and NPTC qualifications to complement extensive practical and field experience.
