BIOLOGICAL PEST CONTROL PACK
NEMASYS LEATHERJACKET KILLER 500M2 Do not
let turf dry out after applying
Apply when the young Leatherjackets are active in the soil, this is typically late August through to the end of October. When you start to see the adult Daddy-Longlegs (towards the end of August) you will know that, in a few days, they will be laying eggs. These will hatch quickly, therefore, aim to apply about a week to two weeks after you see the adults. The Nematodes (Steinernema feltiae), seek out the Leatherjackets and attack the pest by entering natural body openings. Once inside, they release bacteria that stops the pest from feeding, quickly killing the pest. They do not stop there. The Nematodes reproduce inside the dead pest and release a new generation of hungry infective nematodes, which disperse and search for further prey.
Apply to moist lawns when the soil temperature is above 12ºC (54ºF) and water them in well.

191NEMAS0200 ANT NEMATODES
Simply water these Nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) directly into the nest using a watering can. Ideal for treating Red Ant nests in lawns (it will work on any colour Ant). They come as a powder which will keep for up to 2 weeks in a fridge and should be used in one go once opened. As the Ant Nematodes are a cure rather than a preventative measure, DO NOT apply the Nematodes until Ants are present and the soil is 10°C - normally between mid March and September. Each small pack will treat up to 16 large Ants nests, a large pack will treat up to 50 nests.

NEMASYS VINE WEEVIL KILLER
Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer is the simple solution to control Vine Weevil. It contains a newly found Nematode, Steinernema kraussei which has some very impressive benefits including;
• Consistently greater effectiveness over and above the previous Nematode (Heterorhabditis megidis)
• Ability to work at temperatures down to 5ºC (40ºF) offering plant protection earlier in the year
Works at
temperatures down to 5O
C
Gardeners notice a problem with Vine Weevil in February/March when their plants are sick. Previously, they had to wait until April/May to apply Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer, but now they can use the product from March onwards. Apply in autumn, before the problem develops. The new Nematode will provide much improved performance. In particular, gardeners can apply it well into November, providing a much longer application window. Indoors, Vine Weevil can be controlled year round.
