Lucky Shot Pool Club tourney results

its spring session April 10, with 45 players competing in two 9-Ball and fi ve 8-Ball tournaments. Winners are listed below. Scores are calculated by adding the


number of games won by each player plus the number of matches won. When players have the same total score, the advantage goes to the player who defeated the other in head-to-head competition. Pocket 1 and Pocket 2 winners will

the Sun were ravaged by a winter freeze. Lush green plants, trees and bushes were turned into ugly brown eyesores. Fortunately many plants will recover but it will

was played at 1:00 p.m. on March 12; there were only 55 players this year. We have a membership of 168 ladies so put your excuses aside and join in the fellowship and support the tournament next year. The second round of play for our club


championship took place on March 18. Most participants arrived extra early so they could practice chipping and putting and at 9:00 a.m. sharp the competition began. Greg


proceeded to chart the


individual scores as each player completed the challenge of all 18 holes. Following are the results of our two week competition for the club championship and the winners of each individual Flight: our club champion for 2013 is Nancy Howell; congratulations Nancy! The winner of Flight One is Sandy Patten-Joseph,

Karen Bailey, Cheri Almond is the winner of Flight Three and the winner of Flight Four is Carole Elliott. Treats and libations were available following the announcement of the winners. Congratulations to all those who endured and proved their skills. The Member/Member day of golf


was played on March 26. The 8:00 a.m. shotgun results are as follows: Flight One Linda Grendahl and Virginia Cook in fi rst place, Nancy Howell and Nancy Hermanson were second place winners, Jan Hawkes and Sharon Wilson were in third place. The Flight Two winners were Kathy Jones, Veda Baack, Pat Florence and Gwen Curtis, Dot Starkoff, JoAnn Hicks and Lois Fitzsimmons. The Third Flight winners were Dori Helmer and Kathy Ivesdahl, Liz Campbell and Dee Czaja, Carol Schacnt and Mary Jo Stack. Our monthly board meeting and


luncheon took place immediately following play. Luncheon consisted of a serve yourself
