The Palo Verde Men’s Club Champion for 2013 is Dick Howell (red sweater); Flight 2 winner Gerald Brock; Flight 3 winner Rich Featherstone; Flight 4 winner Don Lindsay; and Flight 5 winner Bob Keltz. Congratulations gentlemen!


Dick Nelson, Publicity The Palo Verde Men’s Club Champion for 2013 is no stranger to the title. Dick Howell won his seventh title with a three over par 127 for two days. 

Luncheon was held on April 12 in the San Tan Ballroom of Cottonwood Country Club. The ladies enjoyed a delicious meal and many prizes were awarded through the raffl e drawing. Lori Becker designed and crafted the beautiful centerpieces. We thank her and the committee for their work


with the lunch and raffl e prizes. The regular season play for Lady Putters


will conclude on April 29 for the Monday Flight, April 30 for the Tuesday Flight and May 1 and 2 for the Wednesday and Thursday fl ights. Reserve your place on the roster for the 2013-14 season now with a check to SLLP and given to your

putting green, Renaissance held its fi rst putting tournament on March 22. It was quite a success with 18 residents taking part


in it and a number of spectators


present. Residents were divided into groups with each group taking its turn putting the nine holes. In the end, we had a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner in both the men’s and women’s group.
