May. At this meeting we will be voting on new offi cers or we will decide to close our post. The choice is up to you. If you know of someone who does not

drive at night and you can, please offer them a ride to the meetings. Many of our members are WWII veterans; we need to be sure to include every one we are able to help. If you would like a ride please e-mail

our site or call me and I will arrange for transportation. I am happy to report we have only 13 more members to pay their dues until we reach 100%. We will not get our banner for our fl ag, as we did not reach 100% by December 31. My thanks to all who have sent in their dues. Our meetings are always on the third

Tuesday of the month at Sun Lakes Country Club at 1900 hours; the next meeting will be May 21 and the last for this season. Mark your calendars now and be sure to attend. I am sorry to say I did not attend the

meeting of April 16 as I was on the Star Princess cruising the South Pacifi c. I have

met many wonderful veterans on board. Did you know that Princess gives onboard credit to veterans? You only have to fi ll out the form and send a copy of you DD214. Check with your travel agent or Princess directly for further details. I also met a couple from Sun Lakes on

board; I did not think I had to go 4000 miles to meet a neighbor. This is getting to be a very small world. Don’t forget the casino bus on the

second Monday of each month as it is the only fund raiser that we do. You can call Dorothy, Sheliagh or Glen. We must have a minimum of 25 or we must cancel the bus. You may also leave your name and check at the resource desk in the Legion box. Dorothy’s number is 895-0662; Sheliagh can be reached at 895-8295 or reach Glen at 288-6045. As

always, remember our e-mail is

azamlegpost55@aol.com. For updates, questions or anything else

you would like to ask visit our web site at www.AmericanLegionPost55.org. It has all the activities so check that as well. Looking forward to seeing you

on May 21. 
