The silent auction with art work donated by artists was well received with all money raised going to this fund. The fi remen were very pleased with the turnout for their tasty hamburgers and

hotdogs. This show would not be possible without the support and help of the Sun Lakes fi remen. For the past fi ve years they have been there to help the artists every step of

the way. They assist the

artists in getting their artwork to and from the tables they have set up earlier. We have many Sun Lakes volunteers who also deserve a much ap pre c i a te d thank you from artists.

Single-Sided Deafness presentation at the library

The Hearing Loss Association of America

will present “Single-Sided Deafness” with Fran Saperstein, artist and speaker. Fran will share her life with one-sided deafness, vertigo and auto-immune inner ear disease. She will discuss the CROS aid, BiCROS aid, the Baha implant and a SoundBite device. The program will be held on Thursday,

May 9, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ed Robson Branch Library, Lecky Center, 9330 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248 (parking in the church lot next door). You are not alone! If you, a family
