he Lifetime Achievement Award at the Annual Offshore Support Journal Conference is presented to a person deemed by the conference advisory panel to have made a contribution of outstanding significance to the offshore support vessel

In the past, leading shipowners and shipbuilders, among them Gary Chouest of Edison Chouest Offshore and Idar Ulstein from Ulstein group in Norway have received the OSJ Lifetime Achievement Award and, as ever, the quality of the nominations for the award were extremely high, but it was the conference advisory panel’s view that the award should go to KS Lee, the founder of EMAS group, part of Ezra Holdings. Mr Lee began his marine career by taking a nautical studies course at Singapore


Mr Lee founded Emas group in 1993 – it now has a turnover approaching US$1 billion
