Brave dinosaur explorers wanted
TORQUAY’S Dinosaur World, on Torquay’s inner harbour side, is the only exhibition of its kind in the south west. Full of amazing crea- tures, such as the terrify- ing T Rex and the cute Triceratops, alongside loads of fun facts, the indoor exhibition brings dinosaurs and their worlds to life!
A popular new exhib- it is the scary kitchen scene from Jurassic Park where the two child stars are chased by a couple of scary Velociraptors. Manager, Toby T-Rex says ‘Most children have to close their eyes and cover their ears just to be able to get passed the scene, though there are a few who can pluck up the courage to have a peek’.
Brave explorers can also hunt for incredible fossils in the excavation sites, spend time draw- ing and colouring in the craft zone, take part in the Explorer Quiz to win a Dinosaur Expert Certificate and even sit on a dinosaur.
The exhibition is open all year round and all visitors get the Paleo Pass, which means you can visit again and again all summer for only £1 per person each visit. With special events at Easter and throughout the year there is more to do, more to see and more to touch at Torquay’s Dinosaur World - so don’t miss out.
