Taste difference
OLSEN Cafe in Totnes serves traditional Scandinavian food using local produce. Karl Rasmussen, who opened the cafe in September 2012 has a Danish family and is interested in everything Scandinvian.
There is a large variety of traditional food on offer from fridadeller, which consists of lean port meatballs with braised red cabbage and potatoes, stjerneskud which is breaded plaice fillet on sour- dough toast with fresh prawns, smoked salmon and seafood sauce to a herring platter. There are also open sandwiches with a variety of fillings and desserts such as Danish apple cake. The cafe is open for breakfast and traditional lunches and also is licensed. You can also enjoy an evening meal on Friday and Saturday evenings as the cafe is open from 9am to 8pm.
Why not visit the Ticklemore Street based cafe now to enjoy the delights that Scandinavia has to offer? Visit the website or call us on 01803 866695.
