STEP CURAÇAO INAUGURATED


WEBSITE STEP BENELUX ASBL, which was formally incorporated in November, has launched a website containing tax updates and new regulations in the Benelux jurisdictions, as well as information about the branch’s activities. Visit http://stepbenelux.org


dates  26 April 2013: STEP Certifi cate in Foundations – a new certifi cate that enables practitioners to understand, establish and administer foundations, using practical examples to illustrate key diff erences in the formation and management of foundations and their distinctive uses in wealth structuring. Professor John Goldsworth talks about the new certifi cate on page 29.  28 May 2013: STEP Advanced Certifi cate in Trust Disputes – a distance-learning course that aims to explain how to anticipate and avoid the common pitfalls that can lead to trust litigation.  31 May 2013: STEP Advanced Certifi cate in Will Preparation – a course that enables will draftsmen in England and Wales to demonstrate competence in will preparation. ON 17 JANUARY, the inaugural event was held for the STEP Curaçao Dutch Caribbean chapter. A cocktail reception was hosted at the Central Bank, with STEP Worldwide’s Deputy Chair, John Lawrence, and the Chair of STEP Curaçao, Maria Eugenia Hernández, as speakers.
