SON RISE CUP 2013 Tavistock Community Sports Centre 18th & 19th May


IT is hoped that the 2013 Son Rise Cup, which is taking place on 18th and 19th May, will be the biggest ever with plans to reach the goal of 200 football teams playing.

Organiser, Allen Lewis, says ‘’Blue Moon’’ will be wanting to hold on to their title as Men’s Son-Rise Cup Champions and it is hoped that 32 teams can battle this out on Tavistock Community Sports Centre’s lovely facilities! Children and youth teams from 8-16yrs will play over the 2 days, even numbers on the Saturday and odd on the Sunday. The Ladies and girls are all sponsored by Specsavers of Tavistock so we are all geared up to have a fantastic weekend putting a smile on footballs face! Nearly every business in Tavistock has supported this year’s 8th Event so a huge thank you to them all!”
